One fee. Nothing hidden.
EZY-ESCROW charges a single flat fee of 2% per deal. No monthly charge, no signup cost, no listing fee, and nothing deducted from what the seller receives.
How the fee works
The buyer pays it on top. The seller receives the full deal amount.
2% of the deal
Calculated on the deal amount and added to it. A 2% fee on a deal means the buyer sends the deal amount plus 2%.
Quoted before you pay
The exact total appears on the deal page before any payment is sent, split into the deal amount and the fee. Nothing is added afterwards.
Fixed at creation
The rate is recorded on the deal when it is created. If we ever change our pricing, deals already open keep the rate they were agreed under.
What it costs
Worked examples at 2%. Deals are priced in crypto; these are shown in USD for readability.
| Deal amount | Escrow fee (2%) | Buyer sends | Seller receives |
|---|---|---|---|
| $50.00 | $1.00 | $51.00 | $50.00 |
| $200.00 | $4.00 | $204.00 | $200.00 |
| $500.00 | $10.00 | $510.00 | $500.00 |
| $1000.00 | $20.00 | $1020.00 | $1000.00 |
The fee is calculated in the deal’s own currency and rounded up to that chain’s smallest unit — one satoshi for Bitcoin. The exact figure is always shown on the deal page.
Minimum deal size
Deals start at $50. Below that, network fees on the payout eat most of the transaction and escrow stops being worth it for either side. The minimum is checked once, when the deal is created — a deal never becomes invalid later because the market moved.
What we don’t charge
- No account or signup fee
- No monthly or subscription charge
- No fee to open a deal that is never funded
- Nothing deducted from the seller’s side
Blockchain network fees
Sending crypto costs a network fee, paid to the blockchain, not to us. That applies when the buyer funds a deal and again when a payout is sent. It varies with network conditions and is outside anyone’s control, ours included — it is separate from the 2% escrow fee above.
